Jurassic World Evolution 3 is a game released on October 21, 2025, where you work for the Dinosaur Integration Network and create and manage dinosaur parks.

Unlike the first 2 games, this game features juveniles, modular building, and a workshop where players can upload decoration/building blueprints and parks.

This is the first and only JWE game I've played. I got the game while it was on sale, and for several weeks, I played it almost every day!

I have completed all challenge modes on jurassic difficulty. However, some of them had to be completed multiple times, due to a glitch that causes the game to forget you completed a challenge! I completed Dolomites 3 times, and it forgot the first 2 times! >:(

Challenges

I mainly play by challenging myself to get 5 stars (or as close to 5 stars as possible) in Sandbox under certain requirements, such as only using certain species. Below are some challenges you can do!

Low appeal species
Only use a certain type of viewing attraction
Only 5 of each kind of viewing attraction
Only 1 ranger facility, 1 maintenance facility, and 1 paleo-medical facility
Fences below a certain security level
Backup generators only
Ecosystem
Limited number of dinosaurs and/or species
Get all the species from a specific category
Dinosaurs from a certain category only
Manually control all vehicles (I definitely recommend turning off ranger scans and wear and tear for this one)
Small/medium paths only
Scientists with a certain trait only
Marketplace dinosaurs only
Give a certain trait to all dinosaurs
No building upgrades
Dinosaurs with high area needs
All dinosaurs in 1 enclosure
All species cohabiting with another species

Tips and tricks

These are the 12 best species in terms of appeal and area need of their minimum population: Deinocheirus, Suchomimus, Therizinosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Irritator, Psittacosaurus, Megalodon, Yutyrannus, Indoraptor, Tropeognathus, Giganotosaurus, and Lystrosaurus.
A dinosaur's area need doesn't increase until it exceeds its minimum population.
If you want several species in one enclosure with high appeal, get either of these groups:
Ankylodocus, Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinocheirus, Maiasaura, and Parasaurolophus.
Baryonyx, Irritator, and Suchomimus.
When making enclosures that will have high appeal, such as enclosures with the species groups above, I suggest leaving enough room on all sides for viewing galleries to prevent overcrowding.
Speaking of overcrowding, when you place a building, the hidden last part of the path to it may automatically be small, so you might have to replace it with a larger path.
Several dinosaurs that "like" each other actually shouldn't be put together.
If you plan to breed dinosaurs that can have the aggressive trait, and the parents require their offspring, don't put other species in their enclosure. The babies might have the aggressive trait, even if neither parent has that trait.
Carnivores will try to eat other species' babies, even if they like that species. Baryonyx and Irritator don't do this, though.
Majungasaurus will hunt the babies of other Majungasaurus.
Coelophysis, Concavenator, and small carnivores that require live prey will hunt scavengers.
Despite what the hatchery claims, Allosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Megalodon, and Tyrannosaurus males don't like there being other males.
In San Albertus Fixed Layout, you can split enclosures into multiple enclosures using scenery.
If you want to make sure dinos can't escape, use scenery instead of fences, as scenery can't be broken, and use 2 gates, one in front of the other. If you've unlocked invisible fences, use 1 invisible gate instead. If you lift the scenery slightly above the ground, the dinos' territory may expand past the scenery, making them think there's more space than there actually is. For this reason, you should be careful when putting the enclosures of species that don't like each other next to each other.
Give dinosaurs the humble and social traits if you're on a map with limited space, such as several of the campaign maps. Do note that sometimes dinosaurs won't inherit traits both their parents have, so there might not be enough space for their offspring, so you might not want to give these traits to dinosaurs you plan on breeding.
If you need lots of dinosaurs, get lots of Compies. They're cheap, synthesizing them is fast, you don't need to research their digsites, they don't need much area, and their area need growth is only 11%.
If an enclosure is big enough that not all of it is visible, put the food and water near the viewing galleries.
If a territory's population reaches a certain number, the dinosaurs will stop breeding by themselves, but breeding programs still work fine.
When breeding dinosaurs, you should make 1 male and multiple females, unless the species mates for life, requires multiple males, or is only okay with a limited number of females.
When capturing dinosaurs, place scenery around them so they can't run away.
Give Pteranodon, Quetzalcoatlus, and Thanatosdrakon the accomodating trait. They have a high comfort threshold, and due to aviaries having a low security rating, they can easily break out.
If you do the 1 enclosure challenge, make parts of the enclosure narrow, making dinosaurs less likely to wander through them.
When you're breeding species that are in the same enclosure, make sure to eventually put them on contraceptives, or there will be enough dinos that you won't be able to make the enclosure perfect for all the species in it without making it bigger.
If you want to save space, don't put Indominus and Velociraptor in the same enclosure. For each Velociraptor that's added, the Indominus' area need will go up by 75%.
In Kauai Camerawork, head out of frame counts as a behaviour. Dinosaurs can also chase or flee from flares.

Fun fact: One of the Maiasaura babies in Kauai is automatically named Cabot Jr! If you try to rename him, the game later renames him again, as seen when someone tried to name him Yabois.
